From the start, people have encouraged me to try to squeeze some money out of this truly amazing medicine. And there is no doubt that I could use it right now. But looking at Fu Xi Wen as a money-maker takes the greatest advance in medicine and makes it a tragic disappointmentand and source of considerable frustration. On the other hand, looking it as a fundamental human right to experience the best in health care and health maintenance, frames Fu Xi Wen as a profound success in every level in my mind.

While I have created Fu Xi Wen and use it every day, it is unclear how I will support it in the future. I cannot tell you how discouraging it has been for me to discover the "fountain of youth", shout about it from the mole hill that is the highest mountain I can climb, and find that my voice cannot travel far enough to reach anyone's ears. And while I know there are raving fans of the medicine, not enough people are talking about it and so there is no traction whatsoever. This medicine is a true blessing upon anyone who finds it. If you pick and choose well among the many free treatments, you are guaranteed to feel years younger and substantially more vital. Yet, the web stats show what are probably the same people from the same places returning time and again, without any significant growth into new locations and populations.

When I discovered Fu Xi Wen, I was so incredibly juiced and jazzed by having found something so powerful, beautifully constructed, and eloquently designed. I thought it would be obvious to the world that by giving it away for free as Open Source Medicine, that this was an exceptional gift. To the most part, Fu Xi Wen has fallen on deaf ears and closed hearts. Even the steps to make the treatments more easily accessible (FXW 2.0) have only pushed the medicine further into the away from the mainstream. Yet, I would not take this back. It is like a power sonnet. Its construction is awesome. I love everything about it, every stanza.

So, you will likely find new treatments added periodically. This is my love and I will tend to it irregularly. And if it is your love, you should tell people about it. But I am uncertain what will become of it. I plan on keeping all treatments online forever. But instead of working on The Human Angle Project together in large numbers and creating a complicated method of contribution and collaboration, which was my original dream, it is clear that this is not my destiny right now. And that makes me deeply disappointed, humbled, and saddened.
